My career started in Architecture and then evolved into Graphic Design. When looking for my next step, I found UX Design, which seemed to blend the best of both of those worlds and has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. This background also helped shape my interest and focus in Design Systems.
Two things really: 1. Being able to partner and collaborate with so many kind and bright cross-functional partners and 2. being part of a “new” Design Systems team that has an amazing dynamic.
In addition to spending time with my husband and two pups, I love collecting Architecture and Design books.
Simple and minimal in general, but also love a good pop of “random” (i.e. a short sleeve button-up with a lobster print and a sweatshirt from a local seafood restaurant that says “Peel n’ Eat” with a shrimp apostrophe). So maybe my style is actually simple, minimal, and crustacean.
