I grew up as a fine artist, and was lacking much direction or structure in my life. When I went to an arts college, I was really drawn to graphic design, and the potential it had for broadening my work and style.
Little did I know, it wound up influencing my lifestyle and gave me the structure and direction that I needed to focus and accomplish great things. In many ways, design saved my life, and gave me more meaning and purpose in what I do.
I am all about collaboration, and everyone serving as inspiration and a guiding force for others. I see design as being in service of your audience, so I appreciate a team that focuses on the needs of others, and not themselves. This keeps the work honest and meaningful, and always aiming to be as impactful as possible.

For inspiration, I look at the world around me, the sights and sounds that influence people, and observing how they react to those stimuli.
For my professional work, user-centered research is key, as I most enjoy solving problems for people that actually exist, and can make a big impact on their lives.
For my personal work, I like to go more off emotion and visual candy that is simple and happy, and just makes people smile.
I love bold colors and prints, which help me express my personality and also serve as good conversation pieces. I like clothing to be fun, and I’m always on the hunt for a cool jacket or super brightly colored sneakers.
Outside of work, I produce a lot of my own artwork. I do a lot of illustration, animation, design and screen printing.
I also like to be outside and active, biking, boxing, martial arts, and also love to cook and spending time with good friends.
